In  which  LED  bulbs  will  be  distributed  among  about  150  million rural  households  across  the  country.  LED  bulbs will be distributed per  household  in  all  the  villages  in  India. 

Under  the  scheme,  about  50  crore  LED  bulbs  will  be  distributed by   NTPC,  PFC,  REC  and  Power  Degree  joint  venture  company EESL  under  the  Ministry  of  Power.

The  scheme  will  be  rolled  out  in  phases  in  the  previous  three to  six  months  in  all  the  villages  across  the  country.  He  also said  that  no  subsidy  would  be  taken  from  the  Center  or  the states  for  this  program.
