The IPL Governing Council will meet today. In this, the schedule of the T20 League to be held in the UAE and the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) can be finalized. Although the approval has not been received by the Indian government regarding the organization of the league outside the country, but the chairman of the council, Brijesh Patel, said that the approval will be given soon.

The meeting will be discussed on which grounds in the UAE, whether the fans will be allowed or not, before the UAE, Team India's camp will be held in Motera, Ahmedabad and whether their wife or family will be able to go with the players. Apart from this, there will be talk about the players of South Africa. There has been a ban on traveling abroad after Corona's case has increased. 10 African players are going to play in the league. How will the players be able to join in such a situation.

Teams will decide the training schedule only after getting SOP

The Governing Council can share SOP  with the franchisees. Because without it, teams cannot train. Chennai Super Kings wants to go to UAE by 12 August. The rest of the teams also want to organize a month-long camp to prepare for the league. A franchise official told that we hope that we will be told SOP in the meeting. After that we will decide the training schedule and date of UAE.

Screw stuck when 30 players from Australia and England join league 

Logistics is a big issue in the agenda of the meeting, as the England-Australia ODI series will end on September 16, 3 days before the start of IPL. There are 17 players from Australia and 13 from England to participate in the league. In such a situation, how these players will join the league is not clear.

Players will not be able to break Bio Secure Protocol

The BCCI has prepared the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for the league. There will be 4 Corona Tests of the players in 14 days. Apart from this, there will be no more than 15 players in the dressing room. Not only the players, but also his wife, girlfriends and franchise owners must follow the Bio Secure Protocol. Under no circumstances will it be allowed to break. Once in the Bio Secure bubble, no one will be able to go out of it and join the team again.

Players will also decide on going with wife or girlfriend 

The franchisee will decide whether his wife and girlfriends will go to UAE with the players. The BCCI will not interfere in this matter, but the BCCI has made it clear that the Bio Secure Protocol will be applicable to all. Then even if the team bus driver is there, he will not be able to get out of Bio Secure bubble.
